What sets Bengkung Belly Binding apart from modern wraps available online or in stores?
Benkung belly binding wraps are designed to adapt to your changing postpartum body, ensuring a perfect fit regardless of size. Unlike commercial wraps, which typically provide support from the hips up and may put pressure on the pelvic floor, Bengkung binding support from the pubic bone to the bottom of the breasts.
What's included & when to start binding​​?
Each client receives a new personal bind that is yours to keep!

Ideally, it is recommended to starting binding within 3-5 days postpartum (or 2-3 weeks after a cesarean section upon approval from your provider).

Binding is the most benefecial 8 weeks postpartum but can be done at any point of your postpartum journey. Binds can be worn for 10-12 hours a day but should be taken off while you're sleeping.

If you have diagnosed prolapse or you find that binding causes any discomfort in your pelvic floor, please stop using and refer to your provider and a physical therapist.

What is Bengkung Belly Binding?
Bengkung belly binding s an ancient Malaysian practice that uses a long strip of fabric usually cotton or muslin, often around 5 to 6 yards, wrapped around the abdominal area to help speed up the recovery process after pregnancy and childbirth. This practice is designed to help postpartum recovery by providing support to the hips, abdomen, and pelvic floor. ​​
